A world without them seems like a void
A life without them seems futile

Where does that love go?
Does it wander away, 
Into the deep dark loneliness that engulfs the world
Does it get buried,

Does it look for new people,

reasons,
to live on.....
Or does it shy away from the big bad world,
Filled with fake smiles, and 
Short lived love stories

Whatever the heart choses to do
The wound heals and the scar remains
Love so pure and innocent, 
Shouldn't have to learn a lesson
But such are the ways of the world
